BlueStar Introduces Professional Quality Cookware for the Home

December 08, 2008 - BlueStar introduces its first line of professional-quality cookware for the home. Designed to handle the rigors of high-heat cooking, the cookware features try-ply construction, utilizing a thin layer of highly conductive aluminum wrapped in two layers of professional grade stainless steel, to produce a combination of quick and consistent heat conductivity.
"BlueStar cookware performs well on any cooking surface, but it was manufactured specifically to handle the 22,000-Btu power of BlueStar cooktops," said Keith Wolf, VP of marketing.
The outer stainless steel layer provides durability, while the interior layer ensures an even cooking surface, and the cookware's aluminum core provides quick heat distribution. The combination of stainless steel and aluminum is also easy to clean.
The cookware features easy-grip, ergonomic handles that stay cool during stovetop cooking. The extra-large handles provide increased finger clearance, while the stock pots and sauce pans feature helper handles, making the cookware easier to transport when full. Each piece of cookware is dishwasher safe and oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
BlueStar cookware is available in a five- or eight-piece set. The line will be available throughout the United States and will initially be sold through BlueStar's online store.
