Heidi Piron, of Heidi Piron Design & Cabinetry, Summit, NJ, took the top prize in Bluestar’s first-ever Kitchen Design Competition. “Her winning design reflects an industrial style which is trending now, with the classic blending of black and white,” said contest judge Eric Cohler, renowned interior designer. “Being a neutral, black is never not in style, but it is enjoying a rebirth, especially matte black in the kitchen.”
Handcrafted in Reading, Pennsylvania since 1880, BlueStar® commercial-style cooking and refrigeration equipment is designed for discerning home chefs who demand restaurant-quality results in their own kitchens. BlueStar® also offers an unparalleled 750 colors and finishes, providing a new level of customization options for design professionals and clients.
All kitchen design entries must be submitted by February 1, 2017, and all submitted kitchens must have been completed no earlier than the 2014 calendar year. The kitchen design entry can be any style kitchen. A minimum of one BlueStar® kitchen appliance as the primary appliance is required. Ranges, refrigeration products, rangetops, ovens and cooktops meet this requirement.
