Update on Fire at Small BlueStar^® Manufacturing Facility

One of the buildings used by Prizer-Painter Stove Works, Inc. (manufacturer of BlueStar appliances), located at 200 Orrton Avenue in Reading, PA, was destroyed by fire on Friday April 22, 2016.  The personnel working at the facility suffered no injuries, and the property was secured.

Prizer-Painter Stove Works’ main manufacturing operations continue to be conducted at its 350,000 square feet facility, which is located approximately 14 miles from the Orrton facility.  Prizer-Painter Stove Works is making every effort to minimize any disruption from the Orrton Avenue fire and expects to be able to do so.

The company is grateful for the excellent response by Reading’s fire department.
