The BlueStar® 36-inch Built-in Refrigerator, a finalist in the Best of KBIS competition, is being exhibited for the first time in Blackberry with stainless steel trim – a preview of the 2019 summer palette from the new Savor the Seasons color collection by noted interior designer Eric Cohler.

BlueStar Built-In Refrigerator in Blackberry

The specially curated collection is being rolled out by season. Autumn Abundance and Winter Solstice were introduced in 2018, and will be followed this year by Spring Awakening and Summer Bounty. Blackberry, a mysterious and sophisticated navy, is a preview from the 2019 Summer Bounty palette. The elegant and rich bluish-blackish hue can be a statement piece or can be the a neutral, that joins together softer elements in a space.

All four collections work seamlessly together to inspire the whole kitchen – from the color of the appliances, to the cabinets, to the accent pieces. Each palette features Cohler’s personal recommendation for a metal trim, from antique brass to pewter, to complement each season’s specific palette.

Eric Cohler is highly acclaimed for his distinguishing ability to fuse classical and contemporary elements. Dubbed “The Mixmaster” by industry editors, Cohler’s interior spaces display layers of unusual texture and color, and he is known for his carefully curated style.

“I’m a believer in the handcrafted. The fact that BlueStar appliances are not mass produced give them an artisan appeal; as a designer I have carte blanche. The ability to customize to each client’s personal style and taste is unusual – and extraordinary – in this category,” said Cohler.
