BlueStar expands the color options for their kitchen appliances. There is now a Matte Finish option for freestanding ranges, wall ovens, built-in refrigerators and ventilation hoods. In addition to the new Matte option, these products are available in gloss and three textured options. This gives designers endless possibilities for the products to match any kitchen.
BlueStar teamed up with interior designer Eric Cohler to focus on today’s top color trends. According to Cohler,the finish of an appliance is just as important as the color. “When the Matte finish is applied to some of these trending hues, it softens the color to a more natural, low-tech look, so that the water blues and salmon pinks are even more calming and quiet,” said Cohler. “A smooth, velvety matte surface provides a rich, warm tone that is soft on the eyes and forgiving on fingerprints.” Five colors are a part of this collaboration, including Light Green/RAL 6027, Daffodil Yellow/RAL 1007, Capri Blue/RAL 5019, Water Blue/RAL 5021 and Salmon Pink/RAL 3022.
