This year’s Showcase is set in a grand 9,400-square-foot Pacific Heights home featuring a spectacular 2,150-square-foot rooftop deck with sweeping views of the city skyline and San Francisco Bay.
BlueStar appliances are prominently featured in two of the home’s standout spaces—the Garden Apartment Kitchen, designed by Katie Monkhouse Interior Design, and the Main Kitchen, created by Kelly Hohla Interiors. These spaces highlight BlueStar’s signature blend of design-driven customization, handcrafted quality, and unparalleled culinary performance.
In the Garden Apartment, envisioned as a serene retreat from the bustling city, Katie Monkhouse transforms the kitchen into a cozy and elegant sanctuary. At the heart of the space is a custom BlueStar 30” Nova Series Range in a sophisticated Grey Blue finish, accented with Antique Brass trim and knobs. An extended island invites dining and casual entertaining, while the palette of deep midnight tones nods to the surrounding garden. Hand-painted tiles featuring delicate floral motifs and a luxurious marble backsplash add texture and artistry. To complete the design, a panel-ready 30” Column Refrigerator and 24” Dishwasher—both finished to seamlessly match the surrounding cabinetry—provide high-performance functionality without disrupting the serene aesthetic.
In the Main Kitchen, Kelly Hohla draws inspiration from the nearby Family Room’s coastal influence and her own travels to Tomales Bay. The resulting space captures the misty, ethereal beauty of the Northern California coastline. A commanding BlueStar 60” Nova Series Range in Squirrel Grey, enhanced by Matte Black trim and Brushed Copper knobs, serves as the kitchen’s centerpiece. Surrounding the range are bespoke cabinets crafted by London-based Bakehouse, featuring a custom “Coastal Oak” finish paired with soft “Bridgerton Blue” doors. A BlueStar panel-ready 30” Column Refrigerator & 30” Column Freezer and 24” Dishwasher are artfully integrated into the design, preserving the kitchen’s clean lines and artisan character. Rich oak drawers, recessed appliance cabinets, and the harmonious blend of timber tones and oceanic hues elevate the kitchen into a true work of art.
