(Reading, PA – March 2, 2012) – BlueStar™, manufacturer of high-performance, commercial gas ranges and cooktops for the residential market, is relaunching its bluestar2016.wpengine.com website to give users new, exciting ways to experience its products – including more intuitive navigation, content from professional chefs, and interactive experiences like customizing your own BlueStar.
“The new bluestar2016.wpengine.com offers a sleek design and rich content, making it easier for customers to interact with us,” said Mike Trapp, president of Prizer Painter Stove Works, Inc., the maker of BlueStar. “Our goal is to make the site as intuitive as possible so our current and future customers easily can find the information they need and start designing the BlueStar of their dreams.”
A brand new section highlights BlueStar’s elite All Star Chefs – professional chefs who have chosen BlueStar for their own home kitchens. Originally a manufacturer of high-powered commercial ranges, BlueStar now markets exclusively to the residential market and is featured in the homes of many of the world’s top chefs and cooking enthusiasts. Each All Star Chef will have a dedicated page with video feature capability, and new chefs will be added as they join.
The new site retains popular favorites like ‘Build Your BlueStar’ where shoppers can configure their own custom BlueStar range, but now an expanded Try on a BlueStar tool allows users to unleash their inner designer and see a BlueStar range in any one of 190 click-able colors. BlueStar is the only appliance manufacturer to offer such a vast selection of color options, reshaping the kitchen as a work of art.
“Over the years BlueStar has built a reputation for high-performance kitchen appliances, and we’re excited to show just how customizable our products are, from our unbelievable color selection to cooktop configuration,” said Trapp.
The site also includes two new locators, one for dealers and the second for service. The improved dealer locator offers a search-able map, based on zip code and mile radius. When clicking on the dealer icon map marker, a ‘live’ icon will appear in the pop-up if the location has a live, working BlueStar product. Map markers indicate either a Complete BlueStar Showroom Experience (Red) – Super Nova; BlueStar Showroom (Blue) – Nova; and BlueStar Dealer & Display Centers (White).
Perhaps the most popular area on bluestar2016.wpengine.com has been the Events page which lists BlueStar product demonstrations and special appearances across the country. Now, this will be even easier to navigate, with multiple viewing options by day, week, month and year. Each event type will be color coded, with a separate page for recurring events.
In addition to relaunching bluestar2016.wpengine.com, BlueStar is focusing on developing its social media presence. “We’ve been able to grow our web presence significantly over the last few years, and we’re enhancing our social media presence too, including introducing local mobile technology. Our Facebook page is engaging fans daily, and our YouTube channel has enjoyed significant traffic. It’s clear from the interest in all these tools that customers are looking for more ways to interact with the BlueStar brand, both before and after purchase. In the future, we’re excited to give them additional options for an even more personal exchange,” said Trapp.
BlueStar’s genuine restaurant ranges were developed for people who love to cook. No other gas range on the market offers the same level of cooking performance, with a unique open burner system that produces 22,000 BTU of cooking power. Independent studies have shown that BlueStar outperforms other stoves when tested for boiling, simmering, deep frying, stir-frying, and searing. BlueStar products are made in the USA – every product is hand-crafted and rigorously tested in Reading, PA, and are available in 190 colors.
