BlueStar® Unveils Revolutionary Induction Range: Setting New American Standards in Design, Power, and Performance

BLANDON, PA — February 17, 2024 — BlueStar®, the manufacturer of professional-performance kitchen appliances for the home, announces the brand’s first-ever 48” induction range. The new, innovative range redefines induction cooking by merging performance, precision, and a visual  connection akin to gas cooking, enhancing the cooking experience and making it optimal for the American market.

The new BlueStar 48” Platinum Series Induction Range features multiple industry firsts. It offers the largest cooking surface in its class, with six oversized cooking zones. This includes two expansive 11-inch zones—the largest available on the market—and four 9-inch zones with up to 3,700 watts in boost mode, providing ample space and power. Additionally, a bridge function creates the most powerful zone at 7,400 watts, ideal for accommodating oversized cookware.

This Induction Range boasts a revolutionary matte-finish cooktop surface. This highly durable surface is 80% less reflective, resistant to scratches, stains, and fingerprints, maintaining its sleek appearance over time. Plus the surface cleans 2x as fast with a simple wipe down.

BlueStar is revolutionizing induction cooking by introducing a patent-pending Power Level Indicator Light on each cooking zone, replicating the visual cue of a gas flame. The red light bar indicates the heat level and active zones, providing the control and visual feedback familiar to gas burners while leveraging induction’s speed and efficiency.

“We are excited to introduce such a unique product, that merges the visual cues of a traditional gas range with induction cooking,” says Ann Muth, Vice President of Marketing at BlueStar. “In listening to consumer feedback, we focused on groundbreaking features that speak to chefs and home cooks alike.”

Performance is at the core of everything BlueStar does. Each induction zone offers 12 heat levels, controlled by precision knobs. To ensure that cooking is never interrupted, BlueStar developed a unique Power Optimization System that intelligently redistributes power across each zone. This technology allows for precise, real-time power adjustments, maximizing efficiency without compromising the cooking experience.

“As a leader in the gas range market, our objective was clear: to translate the tactile and emotional experience of gas cooking into a modern induction system,” said Stephane Lomp, Engineer at BlueStar.  “We targeted these solutions to meet users’ expectations, seeking both innovation and practical usability.”

The 48” Induction Range also includes two True Convection ovens, one accommodating commercial 18″ x 26″ baking sheets. A user-friendly 7-inch color touchscreen controls eight cooking modes. Safety features include automatic pan detection, quick-to-cool surfaces, and a child-safety lock.

In keeping with BlueStar’s leadership in personalization, the 48″ Induction Range is available in over 1,000 colors and ten metal trim finishes, allowing users to design a kitchen that suits their unique style.

Since 1880, BlueStar® has handcrafted high-performance appliances in Pennsylvania, offering infinitely personalized options, as unique as the home cooks who use them. For general information visit www.bluestarcooking.com or join the conversation on social media @bluestarcooking.
