U.S. MADE BLUESTAR & PRIZER HOODS HIGH-PERFORMANCE COOKING EQUIPMENT

Red, white and blue are only three of the 750 color and finish choices offered by BlueStar and Prizer Hoods professional cooking equipment for the home, manufactuPR REDWHITEBLUE Page 1 Image 0001red by Prizer-Painter Stove Works in Reading, Pennsylvania since 1880 – not long after America celebrated its first centennial.

“It’s possible to find stylish, great performing products that are manufactured right here in America,” said Eliza Sheffield, vice president, Marketing.  “When people want quality, performance and great design for their kitchens, there are terrific U.S. made options.”

Each BlueStar range and Prizer Hood is 100% handcrafted in Reading, Pennsylvania by skilled American workers.  BlueStar pro appliances and Prizer Hoods provide the home chef with a cooking experience that only can be matched by a restaurant kitchen environment.

BlueStar’s UltraNova® power burners provide up to 22,000 BTUs of cooking power for consistent, controlled heat and shorter cooking times.  High heat cooks food fast and generally locks in moisture and flavor so food tastes better.  And for delicate soups and sauces, no stove matches BlueStar’s gentle 130 degree simmer burner.

And, if it’s indoor grilling you prefer this July 4th holiday, BlueStar’s heavy-duty, commercial stainless steel indoor charbroiler is a great addition to a home kitchen.  With 15,000 BTUs of power and adjustable grate positioning for variable temperature, the charbroilers offer perfect grilling, thanks to the intense, even heat.

BlueStar has been a leader in color customization for nearly a decade, offering its cooking equipment in hundreds of color choices as well as custom colors.  An interactive web tool, ‘Build Your Own BlueStar’, allows consumers to customize a new BlueStar range – from the intensity of the burners to the color of the knobs and the range itself – before buying.

A new addition to the Prizer family, Prizer Hoods continues the tradition of excellence by crafting exquisite, professional grade kitchen ventilation systems that combine world-class design with the latest in commercial hood technology.  Built to meet professional standards inside and out, Prizer Hoods combines high-gauge metals an commercial-style baffle filtration systems so anyone can cook like a pro.  High heat sensors provide automatic heat moderation for seamless high heat cooking.  Prizer Hoods has the capability to create a custom shape for each customer’s taste, and each hood can be formed from virtually any metal and painted in any of hundreds of colors and finishes.

For more than 130 years, Prizer-Painter Stove Works has built a heritage of craftsmanship.  Originally known as Prizer-Painter Stove and Heater Company, in its early days the company produced a full line of coal ranges, hot water heaters, furnaces and heating stoves, sold under many of the major brand names of the day.  In fact, many of those original models are still in service today across America.  Prizer also produced a full line of Porcelain Enamel cookware throughout the 1950’s that was sold under the name “Prizerware”.  In 2002 Prizer introduced genuine restaurant ranges to the residential market, under the BlueStar name and brought Prizer Hoods to market in 2013.
